Pewter bonbonnière by Sylvia Stave
A fantastic bonbonnière by Swedish silversmith, Sylvia Stave. Stave was prolific in her career, producing works for the Stockholm Exhibition and the World Exhibition in 1939. Her works for Hallberg continues to gain recognition and are increasingly collectable; particularly as they offer wonderful solutions as decortaive ornaments.

The piece is pewter and therefore incredibly supple. The figurine we believe has been dropped and therefore knocked slightly from its original position although it still looks fantatsic. The price is reflective of the condition and there are aged-related marks which can be seen in the photographs.
